In his Book “Die Gewerken im Bannkreise des Steirischen Erzberges” (The Owners of the iron industry around the styrian Erzberg) Anton Pantz describes the genealogy of many styrian and upper austrian families; here the genealogies of Schröfl v. Mannsperg, Mann v. Mannsperg, Luckner from Steyr.

Registers of styrian parishes

While the parish registers used to be found in the parishes in old days, today about 30% of them may be found in the Diözesanarchiv in Graz, some of them in Vorau monastry. Here you find a list of registers, which was originally edited by Dr. Alois Ruhri in 1997. I updated the list in November 2003.
